Our Story
October 2006. A dark and stormy night. Ana, a freshman at the University of California, Davis, and her friends stumbled upon a classy soirée in a distant dorm. The festivities were not young Ana's taste, but she found her own entertainment in the reading material left on the dining room table. Andrew, also a UC Davis freshman, observed Ana's exemplary literary taste and joined her to analyze the text. Ana and Andrew soon discovered their similar interests extended beyond the written word, and in May 2007 they began dating and soon fell in love.
The young couple's love grew as they grew into adulthood, and for seven years Ana and Andrew supported one another from near and far. On May 24, 2014 Andrew proposed in a room full of sunflowers over looking the Sausalito Bay, and Ana said, "yes!"
